Student Savings Membership — Terms & Conditions
1. Acceptance
By paying the membership fee, checking the consent box during signup, or using your membership coupon code at a J.D'S Uniform store, you (the parent or legal guardian) agree to these Terms & Conditions in full on behalf of yourself and the registered student. If you do not agree, do not purchase or use the membership.
2. Membership overview
The J.D'S Uniform Student Savings Membership is a paid, non-transferable, single-student programme. One membership corresponds to one registered student only. Each student requires a separate membership and separate payment.
The membership fee is shown on the signup page before payment and is charged one-time per student. Payment is processed securely via Razorpay. Membership activates only after successful payment verification.
3. Discount structure
Discounts apply only at participating J.D'S Uniform outlets when the valid membership coupon code is presented at billing, subject to product eligibility and store verification:
- Uniforms — 10% discount on eligible school uniform items (shirts, trousers, skirts, blazers, ties, and other items classified as uniform by the store).
- Accessories — 5% discount on eligible accessories (bags, belts, socks, hair accessories, and other items classified as accessories by the store).
Discount percentages apply to the MRP or store-listed selling price before tax, unless the store specifies otherwise. Discounts cannot be combined with other offers, clearance sales, or promotional schemes unless explicitly approved in writing by J.D'S Uniform.
4. Validity — 12+1 months
Membership benefits are valid for twelve (12) months plus one (1) bonus month (12+1 months total) from the date of successful payment activation, as shown in your welcome email and account dashboard.
After expiry, the coupon code becomes inactive automatically. No extension, carry-forward, or partial refund is provided for unused days or unused discounts.
5. How to avail the discount
- Sign in at megdesk.org/jds/account or use the coupon code from your welcome email.
- Present the permanent coupon code at the J.D'S Uniform billing counter before payment.
- Store staff may verify membership status, student name, and school details.
- Discount is applied only on eligible in-store purchases during the validity period.
Online redemption is not available unless explicitly announced by J.D'S Uniform.
6. Eligibility & registration
- Membership must be registered by a parent or legal guardian with a verified email address and mobile number.
- Student details (name, school, class) must be accurate. Knowingly false information may result in immediate cancellation without refund.
- Membership is non-transferable between students, siblings (without separate memberships), friends, or third parties.
- One email address may hold multiple memberships only if each represents a different registered student with separate payment.
7. No refund policy
All membership fees are strictly non-refundable. This includes, without limitation:
- Change of mind after payment
- Student changing school or leaving school mid-year
- Non-use or partial use of the membership
- Loss of coupon code or login credentials (codes can be recovered via sign-in where available)
- Store closure, stock unavailability, or discontinued products
- Duplicate or accidental purchases — contact support immediately; correction is at J.D'S sole discretion and does not guarantee refund
Chargebacks or payment disputes raised without contacting J.D'S Uniform first may result in permanent membership cancellation and denial of future enrolment.
8. Exclusions
Discounts do not apply to:
- Items not classified as uniform or accessories by the store
- Alteration charges, embroidery, name tags, or custom tailoring fees
- Products already on promotion, clearance, or special price
- Third-party brands or consignment items excluded by store policy
- Any purchase made without presenting a valid, active coupon code
9. Coupon code & account security
Your coupon code is permanent for the membership period but must be kept confidential. Sharing, selling, or publishing the code may lead to suspension without refund. You are responsible for safeguarding login credentials sent to your registered email.
10. Misuse & termination
J.D'S Uniform reserves the right to suspend or terminate membership without refund if we reasonably believe there is fraud, code sharing, repeated misuse, abusive behaviour toward staff, or violation of these terms. Terminated memberships cannot be reinstated.
11. Limitation of liability
Membership provides discounts only. J.D'S Uniform and Megdesk are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from membership use, website downtime, email delivery delays, or store operational issues. Maximum liability is limited to the membership fee paid for the affected student.
12. Privacy
Student and parent data is processed as described in our J.D'S Membership Privacy Notice. By enrolling, you consent to that processing.
13. Changes to terms or benefits
Benefit structures, fees, or these terms may be updated for new memberships. Existing active memberships remain governed by the terms accepted at the time of payment, except where required by law.
14. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at Mumbai, Maharashtra shall have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to applicable consumer protection laws.
